Advisory Council for Participation and Integration Marzahn-Hellersdorf

Pursuant to Section 19 Paragraph 1, p. 1 PartMigg (Act to Promote Participation in the Migration Society of the State of Berlin), its task is to advise and support the district office in all questions of participation, integration and equal participation of people with a history of migration. Through its work, the District Advisory Council helps to preserve and further develop Marzahn-Hellersdorf as a “place of diversity,” i.e. to ensure intercultural and peaceful coexistence between all people in the district, based on respect and tolerance.

The volunteer committee usually meets once a month in public session.

In addition, there are various working groups in which individual topics of district integration policy are discussed in more detail:

• WG “Diversity and Neighbourhood”
• WG “Women and Migration"
• ”WG “Consultations” (temporary)
