Advisory Council for Participation and Integration Pankow
District office Pankow
About this assembly
With a current population of around 410,000 Pankow is characterized by a great cultural and linguistic diversity. This social diversity should be even more visible in politics and administration. To ensure that the interests of all Pankowers with a migration background in the district are taken into account, there is the Pankow District Advisory Council for Participation and Integration — formerly the Integration Advisory Council. On the following pages, we would be happy to inform you about the work of the active members, as well as about the previous 8th parliamentary term.
As a member of the Advisory Board, you have two core tasks: on the one hand, to represent the interests of people with a history of migration in the Pankow district and, on the other hand, to advise the district administration. The Advisory Board works closely with the Integration Office and covers the following topics: Participation, Integration, Migration, Diversity and Interculturality, Democracy Promotion and Anti-Discrimination, and Intersectionality
