About this assembly
The Advisory Council is actively committed to the equal participation and inclusion of migrants and their descendants.
As experts with diverse perspectives and migration experiences, the members advise the district administration.
In order to represent its interests, the Advisory Council may send members to the public meetings of the borough assembly (BVV) and to its committees.
In addition, the district advisory council will exchange views with the state advisory council for participation.

Twelve voting members and additional deputy members work on a voluntary basis on the Advisory Council for Participation and Integration.
They live and/or work in Tempelhof-Schöneberg and are actively committed to the equal participation of migrants and their descendants.
Representatives with a migration background make up the majority.
German citizenship is not a requirement for participation.
The Advisory Council for Participation and Integration offers the opportunity to represent perspectives that have hardly been noticed so far. To this end, the Advisory Council is diverse: People with disabilities, different ages, different genders, etc. are represented on the Advisory Council.
So far, these focal areas have been identified for future work: participation, accessibility and digitization.
